I went in the opposite direction with this one to design a bright sunny mood/set for this piece. Living in Florida you get plenty of sun so thats probably one of the reasons I like the night's sky, but this piece was done during one summer without all those hurricanes running through. It's just my depiction of what a beach girl would look like relaxing. Hence why I had to have her hair and top match the warm orange and sunshine colors.

I just felt like playing with circles and wanted to test out my new Wacom tablet system. Not bad for a first time Wacom user. It took a little time to adjust to the way you handle the pen, but I think the image came out pretty good. Some how the hair was a bit harder to draw with the Wacom this time for me because I was using the Pen tool a lot to get the practice, but the nose hairs and some of the other details were a lot easier by using the Brush tool. I guess its always a trade off.
