This is a creation I developed during my first exam week at college. I got the idea from one of those simple posters that just say one word, however I felt like creating something of my own. Anyways, a few simple blending of pictures, adjusting the color balance, and a great motivating word makes this a remarkable image.

This art work was a concept piece that I designed during my studies at the University of Florida. I was working on this during one of the basketball games before they won their first championship with Billy Donovan. If you look closely enough, the eye is actually cratered out of the gator eye with the university road inside of it. Many of the other effects were just freestyled. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of effects - I like to keep things simple since I do so much corporate type of work, but since it was my own concept design I just went with the flow.

This was a postcard designed for Contemporary Platinum. They sold platinum wedding bands for diamond engagement rings. Unfortunately I don't think the company is around anymore. However this piece was a challenge because the blue diamonds were transformed from the white/clear diamonds. I had to get the color just right to make it look realistic, but still show the cuts of the stones. Not as simple as just a regular color alternation as some would think because you had to consider the other stones and the mouting holding the diamonds.

A concept art piece when I was playing with fractals. If you ever get to go to a planitarium and see a fractal show, go do it! It's really something amazing to see. I grew up about 10 minutes away from a planitarium, right next to Florida's Manatee mascot (Snooty). I believe I did this one shortly after seeing one of the shows.

If you don't know me that well, or haven't figured it out, I'm a huge fan of the Japanese culture, grunge, and night sky's. The Japanese culture because of my Martial Arts background, the grunge because of the old school effect and look you can achieve. Finally the night sky because its just remarkable how big the whole universe is (and how it looks so different from the different parts of the world). This piece puts my favorite things together. The interior symbol if I recall correctly means "Patience" but I could be wrong on that one.

This image represents kind of the mult-view depiction that everyones life has. You know how sometimes you look at your life from one perspective, but it looks totally different from another angle or point of view. The exterior of this image is what some people see, but life is actually nice and sunny if you go out and enjoy it. So get out and have fun. Personally I love to go running, biking, bowling, play some tennis, or work on my martial arts.
