My name is Alexander Evdakov, but everyone tends to call me Sasha because of where I was born. If you're thinking I'm from Russia, you are right. I was born in Tomsk (which is in Siberia - Russia) and moved to Florida when I was seven years old. I went back to visit my family there about six times so far and can still speak Russian fluently.

I started digital design soon after our family got a computer for Christmas. I first started playing with ASCII Art and MS Paint. I think I was about 9 years old at the time. A few months later, my teacher assigned a project to create a CD cover for a book we read and I decided to do it digitally. Soon after, I spent more time on the computer making art work for free such as banners, program interfaces, and a few logos.

After gaining some experience, I started to list my services on Ebay (mostly for logos and banners). At first I was doing logos for a measly $10 where I spent nearly all day designing. Slowly as my talent and business experience grew, so did my project difficulty. During the next year I started to get more into websites to showcase my portfolio, flash animation, and many other things before going to high school.

I launched my first company website when I was about only 14 years old. Although I didn't make any money from it, I did learn many things in the process. Within the next year I launched a few more websites showcasing my work hoping to get a few more clients. The next year, I took nearly all my savings and invested it to promote my freelancing website. During my first year in high school I gained major recognition as my talent reached a professional level and acquired some large clients.

After high school I ended up going to the University of Florida where I majored in Marketing. I decided to do something a little different than computer science or digital design just to broaden my horizons. During college I was busier than ever. My experience, talent, and customer base continued to grow as I worked on some incredibly large projects. Recently graduating from the University of Florida in less than 3 years, I am still anxious to continue learning and designing as it is my true passion.

I have been extremely active in the Martial Arts for the last 13 years. I've done things from traditional weapon seminars and demos, to kickboxing tournaments, kata competitions, wrote a training handbook, and much more for this sport.

In addition to the martial arts, I played tennis for 11 years and still try to get in a match once a week. I love to go road biking near the beach, and if I can squeeze it in a night-time run. Yes you could say I torture myself with exercising, but I don't think of it that way. I do it because I love to do it. Plus it helps me get away from the computer.
